This year marks the beginning of the Truro Tercentennial celebration. The Truro Cultural Council has decided to focus this year’s grants on supporting the many efforts of Truro artists and nonprofit Truro organizations in celebrating the town's 300th anniversary. The Massachusetts Cultural Council has allocated $4,300 to Truro for FY 2009, and the Truro Cultural Council is now accepting grant applications. Priority in FY 2009 will be given to grant applications from Truro artists and nonprofit Truro organizations that relate in some way to Truro's 300th anniversary.

Completed grant applications can be dropped off at the Truro Town Hall, or mailed to: Truro Cultural Council, P.O. Box 2030, Truro, MA 02666.

The application deadline is October 15, 2008.
